There is a big variety of sports activities, as well as sports centers, in Antalya. You can partake in one of the many sea activities, such as: windsurf, jet ski, water ski, parachute, banana and more. There are also several places for fishing. You can go to one of the privet gyms in town, if you want, or go to one of the city supported gyms, such as:

Atatürk Stadium-The place offers football, boxing, athletics, judo, fencing and more.

Atatürk Sports Center-It has volleyball, basketball, handball and more.

In addition to these places, many of the hotels offer a gym, aerobics, sauna/ Hamam and more. If you are looking for sport activities outside the city, hiking in the mountains around the city, is one thing. Rafting is another outdoor activity for you, at the Dimcay river, with drowning proof boats, float belts, a helmet and of course, a guide who know the river. You can go horse back riding in one of the schools around, even if you do not know how to.

Golfers will be happy to know that there is an 18 holes course around.
If you like mountain biking, you can do it, and take pictures of the nature, where you travel. Take a jeep safari with a local guide. Another activity people like to do around Antalya is bird-watching. Take with you someone who knows the aria and where you can watch the nesting birds of the area.

Some of these activities take place in 2 mountains: Olympus and Tahtal.
Some other places for mountaineering are: Tekirova, Ulup‎nar, Karata Yanarta . For other places, ask the reception in your hotel. Before more activities information, one peace of advice-Never go mountaineering without the company of a local expert guide. It is very easy to get lost in the mountains, or worse, the injure yourself!!!

Many people like touring the Taurus mountains for many reasons. Some are related to the ancient ruins of the old cities, national parks, canyons, valleys, caves and more. One of the best examples can be found is the Kemer area, that combines natures beauty with ruins, as well as sport activities.

Antalya Hunting
The Fauna area is a good place for hunting safari. Hunting in Turkey is legal in some places. The Antalya area, is one of thus places (Another place is Marmaris). One of these places is the 100km (10,000 hackers) Düzlerçamı area. At this site you can hunt deer, wild goats and more, according to the hunting season. It is very important to fulfill the hunting laws, to the letter!!! ask your local guide which animals you are allowed to hunt at that time. Birds that are allowed to be hunted are: Partridges, Quails, pigeons, Thrush, Woodcock and wild duck.

You can find in Antalya few hunting clubs, that ontinuous organize hunting safaris around Antalya and Turkey as well.

Foreigners  that visit in Antalya aloud only go hunting in organized groups with the Turkish travel agencies which have been authorized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. These agencies providing all the info that concerning the hunting seasons, the authorized zones, permits documents, kind of weapons and ammunition. Antalya Fishing
Antalya's area is well known for it's rich sea life. You can find Bream fish, Mackerel, monk crab, lobsters and more. In addition to that, you can partake in cage fishing at sea, in six arias, where Bess and other fish as well. If you want sweet water fishing, you need to go to one of the next rivers: Eşen, Dim, Köprüçay, Manavgat, Akçay. You will find in these rivers, mainly carp and eels. As in hunting, you should find out where it is legal to fish, and how much you are allowed to fish.

By the Turkish low - Tourists can make there fishing activates leisure purposes in non prohibited areas without a license. Other such an amateur equipment and non commercial, must be used and the net\s should not weigh more than 5 kg. Remember ! Commercial fishing by foreigners carries heavy penalties.

Antalya Ski
The Antalya skiing season runs between January and April, also in the spring time it is quite possible to start the ski in the morning,  and then take swim in the munificent beach of Antalya.

About 50km north to Antalya, lies Saklikent site, at 2000m height. If you want to stay for the night, you can stay in a guest house. The site has restaurants, shops and a supermarket. The best ski season is January to April. One of the most interesting things in this site is the fact that you can go skiing in the morning, and then go down the site, and swim in the warmish water of the Mediterranean sea, in March and April. This site contain two ski lifts, restaurants, as well as a comfortable accommodation.

Another ski site can be found next to the city of Kayseri (Caesarea, as it was know in the Roman times). The city is at the foothill of Erciyes mountain, with its 3916m height. In the winter the place functions as a ski resort, with good skiing slops. The site has several hotel and motels, where you can stay at.

Antalya Mountaineering
The Beydag mountain range has a greater peaks that can be start from 600 - 3086m. This rout can offer a wide variety of climbing opportunities.

One of the main important peaks is Tahtalidag, Tekedorugu, Bakirli Dag, and Kizlar Sivrisi. The Climbers can pass via the cedar forests of Camkuru Valley. This climbs rout can be finish in only one day.

Antalya Football
In Turkey and also Antalya, football is very important, and it is a big part of the locals life. There are few football clubs in Antalya, when the best one (At list most successful in town) is Antalyaspor AS. You can always go to Atatürk stadium to watch a game. However, you need to remember not to support any team out load, since the Turkish fans are somewhat sensitive when it comes to supporting a team that is not there own.

Antalya Rafting
One of the main and most breathtaking rafting centers in the Turkey is Koprucay. The Manavagat River is strongly rushes over the rocks, and in fact offers an greater rafting adventures.

There is few rating agencies in Antalya that organize Turkish rafting trips, with all the transport and equipment arrangements.
