Marmaris holiday

In most Hamams exist dressing rooms, massage rooms , humidity rooms that in their center, a heated marble stage, where the scrubbing and soap massage.

In greater Marmaris, it is possible to find Hamams and spas, in most 4-5 stars hotels. If you want to go to a local Hamam, it is possible to find Hamams throughout the city. There are Hamams in Armutalan, Beldebi and Içmeler as well. Some are more commercial then others, but the after Hamam feeling, is great in any of them.

Marmaris Water Park
Marmaris has a number of parks for water activity. It is possible to find them throughout the city. One can be found next to hotel Romance, at a distance of few minutes from downtown. Another one is next the “Tepe” restaurant, over looking the town, toward Armutalan. One more is in the way to Içmeler, with smaller ones around Marmaris.

Marmaris beaches
Marmaris and its surroundings are blessed with beautiful beaches and clean water. Some are secluded, whilst others are more accessible. The dark sand lengthwise the narrow beach, is typical to this area . The warmish transparent water, are calm. Therefore it is good for swimming. Along the beach and the boardwalk, sun bed are scattered for rent. Many of the hotels have private beach, with their own restaurants and cafe shops. These places are open for the public, in the many cases. About half hour journey from the city, situated spectacular beaches, with interested scenery along with the sea. It is worthwhile, for example, to travel to the Cleopatra island, where it is said, that it has the the best sand in world. By the same idea, around Içmeler, there are some secluded beaches, clean water.

A European conservation organization named “Blue Flag”, together with the Turkish local conservation organization, gave a “Blue Flag” to Marmaris. The flag is given to seaside places with tourists in them. Between the criteria's are: Clean water, conservation and cleanliness of the environment, of beaches, guarding and security, services of rescue, safety, and a verity of facilities.

Marmaris Parks

The national park of Marmaris
The national park of Marmaris, is situated at a of distance of 6 kilometers from Marmaris' center, at the opposite bay to town.

The park serves not only as a beautiful picnic area, but also as place in which it is possible to travel around the pine and oak trees of pine, wild olive trees, carobs, and oleander that grow at the river banks. Among the wild animals you can find in the park are: wild goats, bears, foxes, wild cats, squirrels and weasels. The park

In the park there are sites and picnic installations and a camping. Hotels and other forms of rest can be found in Marmaris and Içmeler.

Ataturk Günücek park
Ataturk park covers 82,410 acre. It is situated at a distance of 1 kilometer from Marmaris' center, at the eastern side of the beach.

The park serves not only as area for picnics, but also as place in which it is possible to swim long side beautiful bays, and to walk around the many trees, along the rivers. You can see frankincense trees , where it is one of the few places around the world where this kind of tree grows. These trees are used in the cosmetics and medicine industries, and for churches incense .
