A yacht can be reach to places that cruising ships can’t !

If it’s a beautiful  white sandy beach at the Turkish Riviera, or virgin beach, and unknown islet in the Aegean coast , a yacht can bring you the opportunity to view a wide rang of new blue cruise spots.

Before you go out to plan your own cruise, there are few things you need to take under consideration. Here are few pointers:
 

 What to take with you:

Clothing: Comfortable casual clothing for everyday cruising, warm clothing for unexpected water changes. A dress-up outfit may be useful for special visits and entertaining. Include shorts, T-shirts, bathing suits, You might want to bring comfortable footwear such as, rubber-soled shoes, or sandals, along side with sneakers.

Shoes: It is not recommended to wear any type of footwear on the boat. You should avoid standing by the porthole edges, ropes, rigging wires, floor hatches, blocks, and screw/bolts, to prevent  any injuries.

Luggage: soft Duffle luggage bags, or 2 medium size suitcases, instead of a big one, etc, is recommended, as well.

Sun protection: It's highly recommended to bring with you a high protection factor sun cream, T-shirts and a hat to cover up your head. It is very easy to get nasty sunburn.
 

Camera: Don’t forget to bring plenty of film, with a protected camera case. An underwater camera is highly recommended as well.

Music: Cassette players or music system are usually standard on most of the yachts. Bring a selection of your favorite music, even if most of the yachts have a good music selection.

What not to do:

Smoking: Due to the danger of fire in the cabins smoking in not recommended. It is, however permitted to smoke on deck. You should not lock your cabin doors for fire precautions.

On deck: You ought to secure all your belongings and items on deck, in case the wind is strong and gusty. Kindly abide the Captain's rules and instructions, such as cruising, weather, wind, and anchorage.
 

Water sports: For yours safety, It's highly recommended to stay within sight of the yacht, and to inform someone from the crew, before you go down into the water. That way, if you get into any difficulties, it will be much easier to help you.
 

Diving:  For yours safety, do not jump or dive off the boat whilst the engines is working. It’s best advised to wait for the captain to switch the engine off, and the swimming ladder is in place. Climb or jump off the masts is forbidden as well.

General:    

Drinks:  You can order drinks from the crew or in the bar, by using a voucher method. At the end of each day you will be asked to sign a voucher to check the number of drinks you have consumed, your bill will be totaled at the end of the cruise. To prevent any problems, please make sure you check and sign your totaled voucher daily.

Crew tipping: Yours satisfaction for the quality of services that you get, should dictate the gratuity.
